We’re looking for a creative all-star to bring our organic social media presence to the next level. Our dream candidate is equal parts brand marketer and trendspotter, with the strategic chops to help Lemonade surprise and delight on Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, and other platforms.
Lemonade might be an insurance company, but our social media strategy has always been about thinking big—and a little weird. We’ve commissioned artists around the world to animate their idea of an “endless drip” for our Instagram; guessed the names of strangers’ pets on Twitter; and asked the Reddit community about the strangest things they’d like to cover with renters insurance. Eccentric thinking is rewarded, and we’re looking for someone who has wild ideas (and can back them up with hard data and analytics).
In this highly collaborative role, you’ll craft best-in-class social strategies that engage our community, escape our echo chamber, build brand advocacy, align with company-wide business goals, and get as many eyeballs on our editorial content as possible. You’ll identify scroll-stopping, brand-building opportunities for storytelling and engagement, and work with relevant stakeholders (including our Social Media Specialist and Content Leads) to execute them.
You’ll also be responsible for identifying new social channels and opportunities to reach untapped audiences. This is an entrepreneurial opportunity to sharpen and evolve our already robust social media presence.
