Senior Business Development Manager

Soho, New York | Business Development | Full-time

We’re looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to help us build distribution for Lemonade products. If you’re an outside-the-box creative thinker with a deep passion for collaborating with external partners, this one’s for you.

In this role you will drive, negotiate, and implement strategic and distribution partnerships. You will work closely with our Product team to develop innovative ways to integrate our fully digital service into our partners’ experiences.You'll maintain extensive knowledge of the insurance industry in order to identify new business opportunities and build key relationships with decision makers, both internally and with potential external partners.

Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in a business development or partnerships role at a fast-growing tech company—ideally a direct-to-consumer business
  • Creative thinker and dealmaker (experience in channel partnerships is preferred) 
  • A thought leader and driven self-starter with a willingness to roll up your sleeves (if you choose to wear sleeves)
  • A relentless focus on execution that goes beyond strategy and sales, with a strong eye for detail and the ability to conduct robust analysis
  • Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across teams (Product, Content, Legal, Finance)
  • Experience with API integrations is an advantage
