Senior Actuarial Analyst, Reserving

New York, NY | Insurance | Full-time

The wonderful world of reserving is looking for a trail blazing reserving actuary, who is ready to get neck deep in data and help build out models galore to determine proper IBN(E)R for every policy & claim across all of our lines of businesses. You will also be assisting on setting & presenting monthly reserves on a gross & net basis. 

You will be collaborating closely with the Insurance Product Managers, Claims, Finance, Pricing Actuaries, and Data Scientists. The position requires strong analytical/modeling skills & a unique ability to creatively solve complex problems.

Requirements 

  • 3+ years of P&C actuarial experience
  • Successful completion of at least 4 actuarial exams with a dedication of achieving FCAS/ACAS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
  • General knowledge of a programming languages such as R, Python, or SAS, and proficiency in database query tools such as SQL
  • Analytical and tech savvy, with a strong ability to identify trends, communicate results, and take action
  • Has a passion for building models and is excited about the future.
