Property Claims Team Lead - Water

Soho, New York | Claims Experience | Full-time

We’re looking for a Property Claims Team Lead for our personal lines claims (homeowners, condo, and renters insurance). We need a highly motivated, compassionate leader who’s eager to push the possibilities of customer experience in a way no other insurance company has ever attempted. Your day-to-day will involve overseeing our experienced team of CLX advocates as they manage property loss claims related to water damage. You will help ensure claims are handled efficiently, while always providing a world-class customer experience. We will look to you to guide, mentor, and manage this incredible team.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 6+ years of property (home, renters, condo) claims-handling experience, with dwelling damage estimation skills
  • 2+ years in a leadership role handling a team of property adjusters 
  • Proficient in handling homeowner, CAT, and water claims 
  • A proven track record of growing, managing, and coaching a team
  • Experience working with large national property service vendors (Serv-Pro, Crawford and Co, etc.)
  • Licensed as a Property Adjuster in NY, CA, FL or other
  • Xactware background is a must!
  • Self-motivated, fast learner with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • Desire to work in a unique, dynamic, and fast-paced startup environment
  • The ability to approach your work with empathy, patience, and positivity
