We’re looking for an experienced and passionate UX Writer to join our team of Lemonade Makers. In this role you will be responsible for crafting the copy found throughout our digital products and experiences. You will use your gift for language, depth of product knowledge and passion for customer-centricity to create intuitive, delightful experiences for our users. You will be able to think conceptually and tactically about product copy for web and mobile interfaces, and help bring those ideas to life through words.
You’ll work with people in a variety of UX design-related jobs including product managers, marketers and CX teams. Collaborating with each, you’ll strive to establish cohesive language and a unified voice across products and platforms. You’ll regularly use empathy, logic and hard data to inform content choices. You will play a key role in the product discovery and development process, working hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to build and execute effective content plans. You will drive guidelines and best practices and help provide direction and mentorship to writers and support to peers.
The ideal candidate is a stellar writer with a portfolio of work that demonstrates how you’ve used insight and copy to create simple and delightful user experiences. Your writing style is concise, contemporary, simple and direct but also filled with imagination, optimism and transparency. You know how to explain complex concepts with very few words, in a clear, conversational, and engaging way—and when to add dashes of magic. You’re skilled in UX language and design and love ideas and strategy as much as writing, testing, and iterating. You have a proven track record of developing product copy and content systems for brands who place a high degree of importance on the integrity of the customer relationship.
