Learning & Development Director

Soho, New York | General & Administration | Full-time

We’re looking for a Learning & Development Director to grow and oversee employee development programs at Lemonade.  

In this role, you’ll be responsible for shaping employee experience through onboarding, training, and broad professional development programs. You will partner with internal stakeholders across the company to design and promote programs that support our employee growth across the organization.

In your day-to-day, you’ll work with heads of departments to organize global onboarding delivery for new hires.  You will also be responsible for developing enrichment programs for key departments to support the multi year (lifecycle) growth of our employees.

  • 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development programs (experience in a startup - a huge plus)
  • A background in building and implementing L&D programs from scratch
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, organizational development, human resources management, or related field 
  • A creative, innovative approach to training and onboarding 
  • An understanding of the technology needed to provide cutting edge knowledge management and training development programs (e.g. LMS)
  • The ability to work cross-departmentally 
  • Experience growing and managing a team
  • All around team player, fast self-learning individual
