Insurance Product Manager, Pet

We׳re looking for a talented product manager to join a growing and dynamic team focused on developing Lemonade's Pet insurance product. In this role, you'll take concept to delivery, crafting an experience that makes insurance fast, simple, and delightful.

You'll collaborate with our actuarial and underwriting experts to support the development of coverage, pricing levels, and eligibility requirements. You'll also team up with our Insurance Operations team to facilitate regulatory approval, and work closely with the Product team to implement these features—with the Lemonade user experience always at the forefront. 

You’ll work with our Business Operations team to run product analysis and build dashboards that will drive data-oriented decisions. Once up and running, you'll also ensure we profitably grow Lemonade Pet.

The perfect candidate for this role is a highly analytical, experienced product manager who's passionate about redefining the way that insurance products are delivered.

Requirements
  • 4+ years of P&C experience; specifically personal lines (pet insurance strongly preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
  • Experience driving cross-organizational projects and communicating across an organization, using simple and intuitive language 
  • Understanding of actuarial pricing, reserving concepts,and financial models for personal lines insurance
  • Highly analytical, with a knack for identifying trends through data monitoring and analysis
  • Advanced in Excel, Google Workspace, and data manipulation & visualization tool experience (Looker preferred)
