Insurance Product Director, Car

We׳re looking for an Insurance Product Director to join a growing and dynamic team focused on developing Lemonade’s car insurance. In this role, you’ll take our newest product all the way from concept to delivery, including designing coverage and pricing, as well as crafting a user experience that makes insurance fast, simple, and delightful.

You’ll collaborate with our actuarial and underwriting experts to lead the development of coverage, pricing levels, and eligibility requirements for our car insurance product. You’ll also team up with our Insurance Operations team to ensure regulatory approval, and work closely with the Product team to implement these features, with the Lemonade user experience always at the forefront. Once up and running, you’ll also lead the Insurance teams to ensure we profitably grow our car insurance product.

The perfect candidate will be a highly analytical, experienced project manager who is passionate about redefining the way that insurance products are delivered.

  • 7+ years of P&C experience; personal lines and auto strongly preferred
  • Fast, self-driven learner willing and excited to get your hands dirty
  • Able to communicate complex concepts in a simple way
  • Analytical, with a knack for identifying trends, communicating results, and taking action
  • Comfortable with, and adaptable to, new technologies
  • Track record of prior success, with increasing positions of responsibility
  • Willingness and ability to work with individuals in different time zones
  • Comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Loves getting shit done!
