Customer Company Lead

Amsterdam, Netherlands | General & Administration | Full-time

We’re looking for a senior and highly experienced, data-driven, consumer-facing tech business leader to run one of Lemonade’s key strategic business units. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Co founder and co-CEO and be responsible for extensive research, strategy and meticulous execution, while assembling your team and building your cross-departmental organization. With your considerable background in product-led customer facing technology companies, you’ll be responsible for the success of your domain while preserving Lemonade’s world-class customer satisfaction KPIs.

The perfect candidate is a self-starter, self-learner and an execution powerhouse who loves big challenges, knows how to drive buy-in from stakeholders, a master of goal setting and planning, and can continuously keep up with the pulse of their organization, both from high level and down to the smallest of details. Candidates will be required to drive people to action in a high intensity environment using great communication and people skills, high EQ, empathy, and deep business acumen.

This is a senior role that requires several years of experience owning a P&L and the leadership of global multi-million dollar initiatives with proven success. It requires perfect English.

Responsibilities

  • Own hiring, timelines, planning and strategy for the new business unit
  • Build a data-driven organization
  • Focus on pushing business critical KPIs forward  
  • Work on cross-product initiatives, focused on the customer journey
  • Create and maintain great relationships with department heads
  • Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives and facilitate special projects
  • Operate at a tactical, strategic, and operational level
  • Promote team integration as well as cross-functional communication and collaboration

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of senior leadership position (VP/SVP/C) in global customer-facing tech companies
  • Proven experience in successfully leading large scale, multi-faceted tech projects and P&Ls
  • Strong data/analyst background - great at solving problems through data, research and thinking outside the box
  • Deep understanding of customer-centric software products
  • Great at matrix management, influence and communication skills
  • Super smart, fast thinker, self learner
  • Strong communication and rhetorical skills
  • Smart, energetic and hungry to do whatever it takes to succeed in this challenging role
  • Extremely organized, knows how to plan and execute
  • Sees the big picture, but dives into the smallest details when needed 
  • Non-political, strives for the success of the group vs. the individual
  • Entrepreneurial - ambitious, self-starter, able to dive into any area of the business or product, and identify opportunities and issues
  • Get shit done attitude - always finds a way to make things happen, scrappy, and efficient with limited resources
