Claims Experience Advocate, PIP/MedPay

In this role, you’ll work closely with Lemonade policyholders, vendors and claimants to quickly find a resolution to various personal-injury protection and medical-payment related claims.  By focusing on the details that produce excellence and upholding a customer-first mindset, you'll be a trusted and caring resource.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a minimum of three years handling PIP/MedPay in the auto insurance space. Patience, excellent writing skills, and a great sense of humor are all a must.

Requirements
  • 3+ years experience in customer service with 3+ years handling PIP/MedPay auto claims 
  • Experience handling “no fault” states
  • Comfortable articulating yourself on the phone as well as in email
  • Familiarity with Mitchell Decision Point and adaptable to new technology and tools
  • Litigation experience preferred
  • Experience at a tech start up – a plus
  • Desire to work in a unique, dynamic and fast paced startup environment
  • An all-around team player who learns fast, enjoys solving problems, and loves to get shit done
