Actuarial Pricing Manager

We’re looking for an Actuarial Pricing Manager who is ready to revolutionize insurance!

Are you an independent thinker who’s excited about changing the status quo? Do you love tapping into your actuarial expertise and judgment to improve pricing and risk management? If so, this one’s for you!

In this role, you’ll be managing rate levels, building advanced pricing tools, and bringing actuarial discipline to all kinds of questions—distribution, underwriting, claims, and everything in between. You’ll also leverage competitive data and data science to optimize our customers’ experience and ensure fairness and accuracy in pricing.

Tech savvy is a must, as is independence, drive, and optimism.

 

Requirements
  • 5 years of non-life actuarial experience
  • College degree in related field
  • Personal lines experience strongly preferred
  • General knowledge of data science programming languages such as Python (preferred) or R
  • Sensitive to model transparency/ethics
  • Broad understanding of predictive modeling concepts, including supervised and unsupervised machine-learning approaches
  • Experience with database query languages and tools
  • You’re a self-driven, fast learner willing and excited to get your hands dirty
  • Analytical, with a strong ability to identify trends, communicate results, and take action
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • All-around team player and dependable, hard worker with a knack for solving problems
  • You love getting shit done!
